A tremendous thank you to all of you who visited our cornishmemory.com roadshow stand at the Royal Cornwall Show this year.  We estimate that we must have seen over 2000 visitors. The stand was very busy throughout the Show; it was just great!

We had a number of individuals come forward with a wide range of material including old memorabilia from RCS over the years; of particular note was a recording of a lady who was a survivor of the White Star Liner Titanic!

We had an array of screens displaying archive albums displaying items from the history of the Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge and farming. We were also able to have an edited medley of audio visual material from: South Crofty, Charlestown Foundry, Holmans, Redruth circa. 1931, St Ives circa. 1926 and Bodinnick Ferry circa. 1920s.

As well as the cornishmemory.com trailer containing our exhibitions and digitisation studio, we also had a stand in the Heritage Tent next to the Cornwall Heritage Trust. They have been a key supporter and sponsor of the cornishmemory.com project.

Thank you to all our volunteers. Thank you to Keith Rule & Sons Ltd and Frank Tripp Removals Ltd for their support moving the studio between venues. Finally, a big thank you to Chris Riddle and the Royal Cornwall Show for the support given to us during the show.
