Azook CIC were back out on the road this week on Thursday 11 June, this time kindly hosted by St Austell Brewery at their Visitor Centre. It was particularly special because Thursdays at the Brewery are used as an opportunity for past employees to gather together. A wonderful demonstration of how the Brewery inculcates a family and community feel to the organisation.

We had our Mobile Digitisation Studio set up opposite the Visitor Centre and a stand and display in the heart of the museum.

There was a tremendous amount of enthusiasm from the many visitors who took the time to look at the archives and explore the website. We were even able to interview a number of Brewery legends!

Our thanks go to Chris Knight of St Austell Brewery for his hospitality and help. Also to Mac Waters who had his archive on display and Ted Gundry who conducted the interviews.
