The prestigious Cornwall Heritage Trust has generously granted continued support for the re:collect project delivering cornishmemory.com. The Trust provided initial support for the project in 2012 which it has sustained during the course of the project. As the project comes to a conclusion at the end of 2015 it has pledged further support. cornishmemory.com will survive in perpetuity.
There are many links between the Cornwall Heritage Trust and the work that Azook CIC undertakes. Events have seen the two organisation come together such as the Royal Cornwall Show and the recent Crantock Memory Cafe.
There is the Heritage Lottery Funded re:collect digitisation project which is providing content for the cornishmemory.com website; this has already digitised a hefty sum of archive material (over 23,000 images, 100 hours of AV and audio material) which is gradually being uploaded to the website.
Azook CIC maintains the Sense of Place educational website, which it created in 2008, and is currently designing educational modules to support the work that is being taken forward at St Piran’s Oratory; also being supported by Cornwall Heritage Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
